Free trial, upgrade and invoices

Try Startup or Business for free before you pay. You can start a trial only on the day you create your account.

Start a trial

  1. Create your account.

  2. On the same day, choose Start free trial for Startup or Business.

A trial needs a credit card. You are not charged if you do not upgrade before the trial ends. The free plan needs no credit card, and you can stay on it as long as you like.

During the trial

Settings shows which plan you are trying and the date the trial ends. The Upgrade button at the top of every page shows how many days are left.

If you do not upgrade before that date, your account switches back to the free plan and you lose the paid features.

Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Pick Startup or Business.

  3. Choose Yearly (save 20%) or Monthly.

  4. Select the upgrade button, for example Upgrade to Business yearly.

Enter your VAT number and billing details during the upgrade, before the first payment. They cannot be added on the free plan.

You can also start from Upgrade at the top of every page.

Billing

On a paid plan, Settings > Billing shows your current plan, how you pay and the next billing date, with four tabs:

  • Upgrade Plan: Switch from monthly to yearly billing and save 20%. The unused part of your monthly payment is credited.

  • Billing & Payment: Select Manage Billing Information to change your billing address and payment method in the billing portal.

  • Invoice History: View and download your invoices and payment receipts.

  • Cancel Subscription: Switch to Standby or cancel. See Cancel, Standby and refunds.

Payment methods

Subscriptions can be paid by credit card, Google Pay or Amazon Pay. One-time payments, such as a Single Event License, also accept other methods, including PayPal and iDEAL.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them.

Invoices

You receive a tax invoice for every payment. Invoices are not emailed: download them from the Invoice History tab under Settings > Billing.

  • A finalized invoice cannot be changed. New billing details apply to future invoices.

  • Was your card charged slightly more than the invoice? Your bank probably added a fee, for example for currency conversion.

See Plans, limits and prices for what each plan includes.
