When you add a location URL to your event, you can enable the Shorten URL option to replace your standard link with a Calendarlink short URL. This is especially useful for virtual meetings or shifting venues, because it allows you to update the destination web address at any time. Attendees will automatically be redirected to the new link when they click the URL in their calendars.

Important: If you need to change the destination later, simply edit the original URL in your event settings. The proxy link in your attendees' calendars will remain the same but will instantly redirect to the new destination.
