How to Set Event Timezones and Time Display

CalendarLink automatically converts event times to the viewer's local timezone. You can set your default timezone and time format for new events in your organization's settings.

CalendarLink automatically converts event times to your attendees' local device timezone. You can configure your default timezone and preferred time format (such as 24-hour notation) in your organization settings. Timezone features are available to all users and cannot be turned off completely.

How to set your organization timezone

  1. Go to your organization's settings page at https://my.calendarlink.com/organization/.

  2. Select your preferred timezone and date/time format.

  3. Save the changes.

Important: Changes to your organization timezone and format apply only to new events. Existing events will keep their original format, unless you modify them individually.

How attendees view timezones

  • Event pages display times in the viewer's device timezone by default.

  • Attendees can manually switch the displayed timezone using the option in the upper right corner of the event page.

  • The Add to Calendar link automatically adjusts to the recipient's timezone when they add the event.

  • CalendarLink automatically handles daylight saving time changes (such as the switch from EST to EDT).

All-day events across timezones

To create an all-day event that displays on the same local day for everyone instead of converting across timezones, use a date-based all-day style entry.
