Set the date, time and timezone

Every event has its own date, time and timezone. Visitors always see the time converted to their own timezone, and the event lands in their calendar at the right moment.

Date and time

  1. Select the date field in the event form and pick a day.

  2. Set the start and end time next to it.

  3. Switch on All day if the event has no fixed time.

Events that last several days

  1. Open the date picker and tick Multi-day event.

  2. Pick the start date on the left and the end date on the right.

  3. Set the start time and end time. The end time applies to the last day.

The event page then shows both the start and the end date. For separate sessions on different days, such as a three-evening course, create one event per session and put them in the same collection, or use a recurring event.

The event's timezone

Select the timezone next to the reminder (globe icon) to set the timezone of this event and to switch between AM/PM and 24h. New events start in your organization's timezone.

What visitors see

  • The event page shows the time in the visitor's own timezone, with the timezone name in brackets.

  • Visitors can pick another timezone with the selector at the top right of the page, and switch between AM/PM and 24-hour time.

Daylight saving time is handled automatically: the event stays at the time you set, also when the clocks change.

An all-day event falls on the same date for everyone, whatever their timezone. Use All day for things like holidays or deadlines that should not shift between countries.

Changing your organization's timezone or date format

You set both in Settings under Organization details.

  • Timezone: Only new events use it. Existing events keep their own timezone and time.

  • Date and time format: Applies at once to every date in your dashboard, including existing events.
