Event and collection pages
The standard texts on your public pages, such as button labels and the list of calendars, follow the language of the visitor's browser. A visitor with a German browser sees German buttons; a visitor with a French browser sees French ones. You do not need to set anything.
Visitors also see times in their own timezone. See What visitors see on your event and collection pages.
Texts you write yourself
CalendarLink does not translate what you enter. These texts appear exactly as you wrote them, on the page and in the visitor's calendar:
the event title, description and location;
the collection name and description;
the RSVP intro text ("Are you going to this event?" by default) and the questions and labels in your RSVP form.
The RSVP intro text and the fields of the Default RSVP Form are in English until you change them. If your visitors speak another language, translate them, or create a separate form per language and pick the right one for each event. See Create and edit RSVP forms.
Events for visitors in several languages
One event, two languages: write the description in both languages, one after the other.
One event per language: duplicate the event and translate the copy. Share each link with its own audience.
A collection per language: for a series, keep a collection for each language so subscribers only get events they can read.
Dashboard and help center
The dashboard where you create and manage events is in English, and so is this help center. To read an article in your own language, use the translate option of your browser, for example Translate in the right-click menu in Chrome or Edge.
